Lapeer Township Planning Commission:

The Lapeer Township Planning Commission consists of seven members that serve staggered three year terms and are appointed by the Supervisor. They are residents of our Township.

The general purpose of the Planning Commission
shall be to guide and promote the efficient, coordinated development of the Township in a manner which will best promote the health, safety and general welfare of its people. They are to consider all matters referred to it by the Township Board and / or under State Statute or Township Ordinance.

The planning commission meets on the third Monday of every month except
December at 7:30 p.m. They also meet on the first Monday of every other month
at 7:00 p.m. for study sessions.
